Most went with the traditional collage of images and bio, but the September issue of Harpers Bazaar takes it one step further. The magazine features an editorial starring model Agyness Deyn adorned in some of MJ’s most iconic ensembles, shot by photographer Terry Richardson. I love this spread. When Michael Jackson passed away, I thought that VIBE magazine would try to do something like this. Use one of the top African American models and honor MJ. I guess Bazaar beat them to the punch.”
